The Armaggeddon SMK-9R is a slim, low-profile mechanical gaming keyboard featuring 87 keys in a tenkeyless (TKL) layout. It utilizes Hotswaptech hyper-reactive short-travel Outemu mechanical switches, available in Black (linear, heavy), Red (linear, light), or Blue (clicky, heavy). This model uses the Black switch variant with consistent quality (less than 10g variance in actuation force), 3.0mm total travel, 1.3mm actuation, 65g ±10g force, and a 50 million cycle lifespan for durability.
Equipped with per-key 16.8 million color RGB programmable LEDs, N-key rollover for precise gaming input, and Kevlartech contoured keycaps for enhanced feel. The wired USB connection ensures low latency, making it ideal for fast-paced gaming and reactive typing. Its low-profile design reduces finger travel for quicker responses in and out of games.
