Returns and Refunds
How returns and refunds work for online and in-store purchases. Your statutory consumer rights under Cyprus law are respected and cannot be waived. Where a manufacturer warranty applies, it is in addition to — not instead of — your legal guarantee.
01 Change-of-Mind Returns (14 Days)
If you change your mind, you may return eligible products within 14 calendar days. For online orders, this is your statutory right of withdrawal under Cyprus consumer law. For in-store purchases, we apply the same 14-day change-of-mind policy as a voluntary courtesy.
Contact us before sending anything back so we can authorise the return. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted. You must notify us of your decision to return within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods (online) or of purchase (in-store), and send the goods back within 14 calendar days of that notification. The original invoice or receipt must accompany the return.
- Sealed and unused: full product refund, subject to the return-shipping rules below.
- Opened or reasonably tested: accepted; refund minus depreciation for open-box condition, missing packaging or accessories, or handling beyond what was necessary to examine the goods.
- Damaged or heavily used: may result in a higher depreciation deduction, or refusal if the item cannot be resold as open-box stock.
02 Depreciation & Inspection
For change-of-mind returns, any depreciation is assessed after we inspect the returned item. We will explain the deduction before issuing a refund. Depreciation reflects diminished value from handling beyond what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods — not an arbitrary restocking fee.
Examples include (without limitation): a broken factory seal, missing accessories or packaging, cosmetic marks, or activation or registration of software or devices. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of your withdrawal notification, once we have received the goods or proof that you sent them back.
03 Return Shipping & Costs
- Change-of-mind returns: return shipping is generally your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in advance.
- Online change-of-mind returns: standard outbound delivery charges are refunded; express or premium delivery costs are not refunded.
- Faulty or incorrect items: Armenius covers return shipping. No depreciation is applied.
Returned goods must be securely packaged to avoid damage in transit. We recommend a trackable shipping method. Armenius is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping unless agreed in advance.
04 Legal Guarantee — Faulty or Not as Described
This section applies when a product is defective, does not match its description, or is not fit for purpose — separate from change-of-mind returns. Your statutory rights under Cyprus law cannot be reduced by this policy.
- New goods: a minimum two-year legal guarantee from the date of delivery, at no extra cost.
- Refurbished goods: a minimum one-year legal guarantee from the date of delivery, as stated at purchase. Refurbished items are marked as such on the product page.
- Notify us of any lack of conformity within two months of discovering the defect.
- Remedies: free repair or replacement within a maximum of 25 days from notification (any extension requires your express consent), then a price reduction or full refund if the remedy fails or is unreasonable.
- If a defect appears within the first six months of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at delivery unless proven otherwise (unless incompatible with the nature of the goods or the defect).
- No depreciation is charged on returns due to lack of conformity. A separate manufacturer commercial warranty may also apply.
05 Items Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns
The following exclusions apply to change-of-mind returns only. Faulty items in these categories remain covered under the legal guarantee where applicable.
- Custom-made or special-order items.
- Sealed hygiene or health products once unsealed after delivery.
- Sealed software, audio, or video recordings once unsealed after delivery.
- Items that cannot be resold for legal or safety reasons (for example, activated licences or missing serial numbers).
06 How to Request a Return
To start a return, contact us using the details below. Tell us your order or invoice number, the item(s) you wish to return, and whether the return is a change of mind or due to a fault. We will confirm next steps and, where applicable, provide return instructions.
