The Xiaomi vacuum robot 5 combines powerful suction and wiping performance with intelligent sensor technology. Its dToF Smart Retractable Radar automatically adapts to the environment — it retracts on low furniture and rises in open areas for more precise mapping. The S-Cross Structured Light system detects the smallest obstacles and prevents collisions, supported by additional side and laser sensors for optimal navigation. With a suction power of up to 20,000 Pa, the robot reliably removes dust, hair and dirt. A main brush with an integrated trimmer prevents tangles, while dual extension technology allows brushes and mops to work right up to edges and corners. The mopping module regulates the amount of water precisely and, thanks to the ultrasonic sensor, automatically raises itself as soon as carpets are detected. The base station takes care of dust extraction, mop washing with 80 °C hot water and drying in two hours. A 2.5 liter dust bag is enough for around 75 days, the 4 liter fresh water tank is sufficient for large areas. Everything is conveniently controlled via the Xiaomi Home app, including scheduling, restricted zones, multi-room maps and voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant.
