The ground Bosch PRO Metal HSS-G twist drills drill into metal with the highest precision. The self-centering drill bit with a cross grind and a point angle of 135° enables perfect centering without wandering. The cross-ground drill tip eliminates the need for center punching or pre-drilling up to 10mm diameter. The precision-ground drills made of HSS steel drill 40% faster and require 50% less contact force than conventionally ground HSS drills. They are suitable for drilling in alloyed and unalloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, malleable iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastic. The shank is cylindrical (the shank diameter corresponds to the drill diameter). They are compatible with drill stands and drill drivers.
