Polyimide tape - 0.5 inch

The polyimide adhesive tape EU145113-2 from iFixit is used in electronic components from aerospace as well as in Apple products. It is a low-gassing plastic with high heat and radiation resistance and excellent insulating properties. Whether used as masking tape for electric welding and powder coating or for electrical insulation in X-ray machines and radioactive environments: polyimide tape is the perfect super tape for the mad scientist. The polyimide tape is the perfect replacement for the 12.7mm tape used by Apple (#922-1731). Even though only a few centimeters of the approximately 33 meter long roll are needed, it is cheap enough to share with friends or to stockpile for life. The tape is compatible with the properties of «3M Kapton® Polyimide Tape #KPT-1/2» and can be used as a replacement.
