The Intel Core Ultra 9 285 is a high-performance desktop processor from the Arrow Lake series (Core Ultra Series 2), designed for demanding workloads including gaming, content creation, and AI-accelerated tasks. Featuring a hybrid architecture with 8 Performance-cores (P-cores) and 16 Efficient-cores (E-cores) for a total of 24 cores and 24 threads, it delivers efficient multi-threaded performance without Hyper-Threading on P-cores. Base frequencies start at 2.5 GHz (P) / 1.9 GHz (E), boosting up to 5.6 GHz overall, with 36 MB Intel Smart Cache (L3) and 40 MB L2 cache.
Built on LGA 1851 socket, it supports dual-channel DDR5-6400 memory up to 256 GB with ECC support, 24 PCIe 5.0/4.0 lanes, and integrated Intel Graphics (4 Xe-cores, 300 MHz-2 GHz) capable of driving up to 4 displays at high resolutions via HDMI 2.1, DP 2.1, eDP 1.4b. The integrated NPU (Intel AI Boost) provides up to 13 TOPS for AI tasks, with total platform performance up to 36 TOPS. Processor Base Power is 65 W, with Maximum Turbo Power at 182 W.
