The Bosch Expert high-performance battery EXBA18V-40 is a lithium-ion battery with a voltage of 18 volts and a capacity of 4.0 Ah. It delivers up to 2,000 watts of maximum power for demanding applications in an extremely compact design. It is based on advanced «tabless» cell technology, while conventional batteries have «multi-tab» cells that only use two tabs to conduct power. “Tabless” cell technology eliminates this bottleneck. Instead of just two current paths, it offers countless parallel current paths. The result: lower resistance, less heat, impressive performance and excellent energy density. With the new reinforced, robust housing, excellent thermal management through COOLPACK 2.0 and «Tabless» cell technology, the EXBA18V-40 offers an extremely long service life for professionals. The EXBA18V-40 has an extended charging temperature range from -10°C to +55°C battery temperature. It has a 5-LED display for charging status, remaining capacity and defect risk detection, can be fully charged in just 30 minutes with the EXAL18V2-320 or EXAL18V-160 chargers and weighs only 605g. The EXBA18V-40 Professional battery is part of the AMPShare Alliance. A single battery fits all tools and machines in the blue Bosch Professional 18V system, but can also be used across brands with numerous other devices from other manufacturers in the AMPShare Alliance.
