The Inter-Tech BP-4724-12G is an optional 24-fold backplane with expander chipset for the 19″ storage enclosures 4U 4724 and 4U 4736 with a transmission speed of up to 12G. The backplane replaces the already pre-installed 6G backplane. The backplane is connected to the controller (not included in delivery) via an SFF-8643 connection and also offers two additional SFF-8643 inputs. The power supply runs via five power connections.
