TG GPU Guard - seal

The TG GPU Guard is a highly compressible foam seal for the graphics chips (GPUs) of graphics cards. It protects electronic components when using liquid metal or other electrically conductive heat-conducting media and at the same time increases the service life of liquid metal. The TG GPU Guard covers the surface-mounted devices (SMD) next to the graphics chip and is slightly higher than the graphics chip itself. The highly compressible source material has a height of 0.8 mm and can be compressed to up to 0.15 mm and easily compensates for differences in height of the SMDs. Due to the contact pressure when mounting the cooler, the height difference between the PCB and the cooler is completely filled by the foam seal, so that it cannot run onto other components on the PCB. In addition, the foam seal prevents oxygen from reaching the liquid metal, which increases its durability. The TG GPU Guard is gallium resistant. The universal version consists of a 100x100x0.8 mm pad that is individually cut to size. Depending on the size of the graphics chips, one universal pad may be sufficient for multiple GPUs.
