With the RJ45 Secure Clip Starter Set 86406 from Delock, patch cables can be locked in a network socket. The Secure Clip is attached to the RJ45 connector and replaces the locking lug. The plug can then be locked in the RJ45 socket, which protects the cable from being removed. At the same time, the socket is locked and secured against unauthorized use. This means that physical access to the network can be controlled in security-relevant areas, e.g. in public spaces or in data centers. The system can be used with standard patch cables and adapted to various plugs. The Secure Clip tool is required to release the lock.
