The PointTeQ HSS twist drills enable quick drilling in metal due to the PointTeQ design on the drill tip. Quick and easy drilling is possible as the self-centering tip prevents wandering. Due to the increased drilling rate, heat and wear are reduced. The PointTeQ design on the drill tip remains sharp and can withstand continuous use. There is a low risk of breakage, especially for drills with a diameter under 6mm, as the drill is manufactured to have a highly elastic body. The black oxide coated groove also allows chips to be removed quickly. These drills are suitable for drilling through and center holes in alloy and unalloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron and plastic. The shaft is cylindrical. (The shank is equal to the diameter of the drill.) It is compatible with drill presses and drill drivers.
