The self-sharpening reinforcing ribs create not only lateral but also vertical cracks in the material. This creates more material removal and prevents the chisel from jamming. The flat chisel is intended for chiseling, demolition and adjustment work in concrete and building stone and also for restoring joints and exposing reinforcements. The Bosch PRO SDS max-5C pointed chisel is ideal for precision work in concrete with less jamming than traditional pointed chisels. The twisted, self-sharpening tip removes material over a wider area, enabling faster work. The chisels are intended for chiseling, demolition and adjustment work in concrete and building stone as well as restoring joints and exposing reinforcements. Both chisels are compatible with the SDS-max shaft system.
