The 5 meter long active USB cable 84146 from DeLock enables the connection between devices with a USB-C port and a PC or notebook with a free USB-C port. The active optical cable uses fiber optic cables to transmit high-speed signals. Compared to the traditional copper cable, the fiber optic/copper hybrid cable is softer, thinner, lighter and can transmit signals over longer distances without loss. The cable supports DisplayPort 1.4 with 2 lanes and is suitable for connecting a USB-C monitor with a resolution of up to 4K Ultra HD (3,840 x 2,160 @ 144Hz) to a computer with a USB-C interface and DisplayPort Alternate Mode support. The active optical cable enables data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps when connecting USB 10 Gbps compatible devices. Of course, USB 2.0 devices can also be connected. By supporting the USB Power Delivery standard, connected devices can be supplied with power, up to 60 watts (20V / 3A) are possible.
