The hairdryer then constantly maintains a pleasant target temperature of 55 °C – for gentle drying, even close to the scalp. The scalp protection mode is compatible with the gentle airflow attachment and the styling nozzle. The Dyson Hyperdymium Motor (V9) is fast, light and compact. It runs at up to 100,000 revolutions/minute and transports 13 liters of air through the device every second. Fast, intelligent drying Air Multiplier technology, combined with a powerful motor, creates a powerful airflow for quick drying. The auto-pause feature uses a motion sensor to detect when the hairdryer is placed down during styling – or when you pause to section your hair, for example. The device then automatically deactivates the heating element and reduces the airflow and volume. The five smart attachments are suitable for different styling needs and hair types. They have pre-programmed airflow and temperature settings that can also be customized within an optimized range. The device uses a recognition sensor to automatically recognize the different attachments as soon as they are put on and switch to the last used settings. The waves and curls diffuser offers two modes. In dome mode, air is directed through the hair for more defined natural waves or curls. The diffuser mode in turn creates more volume at the roots to give natural curls and frizzy hair more structure.
