With the adapter 63332 from Delock, the audio signal can be extracted from an HDMI transmission. While the image signal is displayed on a TV or monitor, the audio signal can be output to a surround receiver via the second HDMI connection. This means that an existing AV receiver or soundbar can still be used, even if there is no suitable Ultra HD connection. In contrast to conventional digital S/PDIF audio outputs, all modern surround formats can be transmitted to the receiver via the HDMI audio output. Alternatively, the eARC function can be activated on the extractor. The audio signal from the connected TV device is then output via the HDMI audio port on the device.
