The Broadcom MegaRAID SAS 9361-8i is a premier 12Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID controller designed for enterprise servers and storage systems. Featuring PCIe 3.0 x8 host interface, it delivers exceptional performance with eight internal ports via 2x mini-SAS SFF-8643 connectors, supporting up to 128 SAS/SATA drives and expandability to 240 devices.
Equipped with 1GB 1866MHz DDR3 cache and dual 1.2GHz PowerPC cores on the LSISAS3108 ROC, it supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 for balanced protection and speed. Low-profile MD2 form factor (6.6″ x 2.536″) fits rack servers; optional CacheVault for power-loss protection. Backward compatible with 6Gb/s and 3Gb/s drives.
