USB GaN charger 1x USB-C, 140 watts

The USB charger 41471 from Delock is equipped with a USB-C Power Delivery (PD 3.1) port, which means supported devices can be charged with up to 140 watts. The USB PD 3.1 specification defines the voltage levels 28, 36 and 48 volts with support for Extended Power Range (EPR) with 5 amps each. Thanks to a calculated maximum output of 240 watts (48V / 5A), not only powerful notebooks and desktop PCs, but also other device classes can be supplied with power. The Delock charger is characterized by an output power of 28 volts and 5A. GaN technology uses GaN (gallium nitride) transistors, which increases the efficiency compared to conventional silicon technology. This means that a high output power can be achieved even with very compact dimensions. For the EPR mode (28, 36, 48V / 5A) a USB cable with the corresponding E-marker is mandatory. If this E-marker is not present, a maximum of 3A will be transmitted. Corresponding cables are optionally available.
