The cooler utilizes two 6mm direct-touch copper heatpipes paired with 46 aluminum fins for efficient heat dissipation across Intel’s latest platforms.
Equipped with a single 100mm P10 PWM fan featuring a fluid-dynamic bearing, the Freezer 8i operates nearly silently at low loads. The fan speed ranges from 200 to 2,300 RPM with PWM control, and automatically enters passive mode (0 RPM) below 5% PWM duty cycle, relying on passive cooling alone during idle periods. The cooler comes with pre-applied Arctic MX-6 thermal paste, enabling immediate installation without additional preparation.
