The Knipex needle-nose pliers with cutting edge 26 11 200 with jaws tapering towards the front are suitable for fine, easy-to-dose and firm gripping and holding of workpieces as well as for powerful cutting of cables and wires. The cutting edges are ground to produce an efficient bite cut. Thanks to additional inductive hardening of the cutting edges to approx. 61 HRC cutting hardness, cables, soft, medium-hard and even hard wire can be powerfully cut. The precision tips are torsion-tolerant because they are designed to be elastic. The user can optimally dose his hand strength. Larger workpieces can be held stably and smaller ones can be gripped gently. The position of the cutting edges near the joint results in favorable values ​​for the transmission of hand force to the wire, and the effort required when cutting is therefore correspondingly low. The needle-nose pliers taper to a point at the front. This makes it possible to easily reach and reliably grip components and workpieces even where there is little space, e.g. when repairing electrical devices, installing in the sanitary area or in domestic plumbing.
