BiX, pipe cutter for plastic pipes and sealing sleeves

The Knipex BiX is a particularly clever pipe cutter; it cuts pipes without cutting and fits in a fist. For example, it cuts high-temperature sewage pipes and empty electrical pipes in no time at all and shortens drip and sealing sleeves during final assembly in accordance with standards with a distance of approx. 2 – 3 mm from the wall. It cuts unreinforced plastic pipes from Ø 20 to 50mm with wall thicknesses of up to 2.4mm, cutting the pipes cleanly and without cutting in just a few turns. The rotating knife block can be used for cutting plastic pipes (blade in the middle) or for drip and sealing sleeves (blade on the outside). Two replacement blades are integrated into the tool, and the locking mechanism ensures safe transport. The Knipex BiX is made of sturdy, reinforced plastic, the knife block is made of die-cast zinc. The blades are made of special knife steel, made in Solingen.
